The Thiruchabai was born from the migrants of KGF, who were forced to leave since the closure of the mines. In the year 1997 on Nov 30th, a group of 12 people wanted to have a Church of their own. They were taught the word by Pr. Kenneth P Waldock who used translators to communicate since 1996.Pastor Nixon Solomon, a young Tamilian, newly married, never knew to read or write Tamil happened to fill in the gap for Pr. Ken when he went on furlough for three months starting from August 1997.

Three months of preaching from English Bible and the strong support from the believers, most of all a clear cut call from the Lord challenged Pastor. Nixon to take on the responsibility of Pastoring the Church. Pr.Ken Waldock was mentoring Nixon in leading the flock.

Thus This Church was born and is continuing to cater to the uneducated Tamil speaking people who migrate from Tamil Nadu in search of jobs to Bangalore.The Church is totally independant. And the pastor is a tent maker Pastor, who works part time and ministers full time.

Prayer meeting: Tuesdays 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Intentional Discipleship program: Thursdays 7:00pm - 9:00pm
