SISWA Prayer Center is a Tamil church. In 1975 the founder and director Rev. M. Prakash, had a vision from GOD, so he started South India Soul Winners Association (SISWA). Then in 1976 God gave a burden to send missionaries to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and three missionaries from Tamil Nadu came to these Islands. That time they traveled 7-9 days by ship, their seeds, the gospel of Jesus they preached. It touched many people in the forgotten Islands, and that time here in Andaman people are thirst for the word of God, especially the Tamil people, who came from various parts of Tamil Nadu seeking job. The missionaries had started small House churches for the Tamil people. The house churches grow very swiftly in the grace of God.

In 1982 SISWA Prayer Center is started in Buniyadabad, Port Blair. This church have burden about the Gospel, so all the members and Pastor went to the street and preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. In 1985, the church started a branch church in Bathubasti, Port Blair, and in 1989, the church have another one branch in Shadipur, Port Blair, now the two branch church became good gatherings.
